The Captivating Capital Columbia District

Welcome to the new website of the Columbia District of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church.  Our mission is to provide leadership support, education, training, and resources to 26 local churches seeking to improve the well-being of people by ministering to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all people.   The Columbia District is one of three presiding elder districts that constitute the Columbia Annual Conference of the Seventh Episcopal District under the leadership of Bishop James Levert Davis Presiding Bishop
